FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about how we work, what things cost, and what to expect.
Do you work with businesses outside Florida?
Yes. We’re based in Tampa and work remotely with businesses across the United States. Service availability depends on engagement scope and applicable professional requirements.
Can we hire you for only one service?
Yes. Many clients start with a single service — bookkeeping, a cleanup project, or sales tax — and expand later. The proposal defines exactly what’s in scope. See our services.
What accounting software do you support?
We work in QuickBooks and other mainstream platforms. If your current setup works, we keep it; if it’s fighting you, we’ll say so and explain why.
Do you offer fixed pricing?
Recurring work is billed as a flat monthly fee defined in your proposal — no surprise hourly charges for routine questions. Monthly engagements start at $1,500; cleanup and special projects are quoted separately. See Pricing.
Can you help us switch from another accountant?
Yes, and it’s less painful than owners expect. We handle the transition sequence — records, access, open items — so nothing is dropped along the way.
Can you clean up prior bookkeeping?
Yes. Cleanup starts with a diagnostic review of your file so you get a firm quote and timeline before committing. See QuickBooks Cleanup & Catch-Up.
How quickly do you respond?
We reply within one business day.
Do you provide tax planning throughout the year?
Yes — that’s the point of combining books and tax. Planning checkpoints happen during the year, when there’s still time to act, not after it ends. See Business Tax Planning & Preparation.
What happens during onboarding?
A guided sequence: access to your accounting and payroll systems, review of prior returns and balances, a cleanup assessment if needed, and agreement on your monthly calendar. You’ll always know what’s next and what we’re waiting on.
What information should I avoid submitting through the website?
Please don’t send Social Security numbers, EINs or other tax identification numbers, banking details, tax returns, payroll records, or other sensitive documents through the contact form. Once engaged, we set up a secure way to exchange documents.
